  • BHARATNATYAM DANCE PERFORMANCE
    Over 20 Encee Arts students performed at the London Sath Sangam Dance programme on the 12 September 2009 in Edgware. The stage show was presented by Usha Raghavan.
     
  • BOLLYWOOD AT THE KILBURN SUMMER BLOC PARTY
    Concrete Canvas Arts invited our Bollywood troupe to perform a lively item for their first ever Summer Bloc Party in South Kilburn on 5 September 2009.
     
  • DANCE MOB AT ENCEE ARTS
    As part of Southbank-s Dance Mob Encee Arts were invited to a Hip Hop session. Dance Mob is a one minute dance choreographed by Kate Prince, the Director of ZooNation Dance Company. The project was been taken all over London with a final showcase on Southbank Centre-s Riverside Terrace.
     
  • MAKE UP AND GUNGRU WORKSOP
    Gauri Sharma hosted a make up and Gungru (dancing bells) workshop for Encee students on 26 August 2009. Over 15 students participated in the creative workshop.
     
  • BRENT SUMMER UNIIVERSITY 2009
    Jyoti Bhanderi from Encee Arts hosted the Bollywood Summer club as part of Brent Summer University at Granville Arts Centre, Kilburn. Over 18 young people had a chance to explore: Bollywood Dance, choreography techniques, make- up ideas, costume designing and performance skills. The event was held over 3 days with a finale showcase on 21 August 2009 at Brent Town Hall for the Mayor and parents.
     
  • ENCEE OPEN DAY
    Over 300 parents visited Indubhen Ratilal Auditorium on the 12 July 2009, at Encee Arts annual show of the year. Performances included Dhol, Kathak, Bharatanatyam and Bollywood.
     
  • ENCEE ACADEMY AT VIDYA BHAVAN CENTRE
    Encee Arts Bollywood students were invited to a dance at the Vidya Bhavan Centre on 27 June 2009. Dance performances included a Jai Hoi fusion Bollywood and Bharatanatyam item, Bollywood medley and Folk dance. The event was attended by Dev Patel from Slum Dog Millionaire.
     
  • LETS PARTY
    Encee Arts young people hosted an end of term pizza party on 27 June 2009. The evening was packed with fun games, dancing and entertainment. Over 100 students attended the event.
     
  • BRENT DANCE MONTH 2009
    Encee Arts hosted a dance week of various dance styles from Salsa, Bollywood, Bharatanatyam and an Office Workout Session. Brent Dance Month encourages people to participate in a dance classes & workshop within the borough.
     
  • BRENT RESPECT FESTIVAL 2009
    Over 25 budding Bollywood dancers aged 14- 15 years from Copland School took to the dance stage at this years Respect festival on the 5 July 2009. The dance performance was a fusion of three different styles: Bollywood, Hip Hop and Salsa. The dance project was supported by Akademi and LSC.
